Charity of the Year 2011-2012

Macmillan is Nabarro LLP's charity of the year.

With effect from 1 May 2011, both the London and Sheffield offices will be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support as the firm's charity of the year.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. One in three of us will get cancer. We are all affected by it, and we can all do something to help.

Throughout the UK Macmillan helps countless local people affected by cancer. Macmillan are a source of support; providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support. They are also a force for change; listening to people affected by cancer and working together for better cancer care. Macmillan provides practical, medical and financial support to patients, families and communities affected by cancer.

Macmillan relies on voluntary donations for 99% of its income. All of the money raised by Nabarro will go towards the work of Macmillan in the London and Sheffield areas, and our target is to raise enough money to pay for a specialist Macmillan Nurse for 6 months in both London and Sheffield.
