Fundraising

The Nabarro Fundraising Committee was set up to complement the work of the Charity Committee. In addition to charitable donations made by Nabarro, the Fundraising Committee co-ordinates efforts to raise money to donate to a number of good causes, primarily our charities of the year.

The Fundraising teams in London and Sheffield organise events ranging from the Sheffield Charity Ball, London Hell's Kitchen, Christmas Shoeboxes for the Salvation Army, book sales and book club donations, cake and ice-cream sales, dress down days and the Jeans for Genes and Wear it Pink days, to the Sheffield half marathon, the Sheffield-London cycle ride, a poker night and the Zip Line Challenge. Information on many of these events can be found in the news section of the home page. Jointly we have raised more than £56,000 for charity since 1 May 2010.

In addition, various individuals and groups within Nabarro have organised and taken part in fundraising events for a variety of charities including the Red Cross Appeal for Japan, Help for Heroes, Coram, Teenage Cancer Trust, and Oxfam.
