Nabarro support the campaign for the renewal of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London

Some of you may have seen an article in the Evening Standard earlier this week about the renewal of the St Martin-in-the-Fields church and community centre in Trafalgar Square, London.
This has been a six year project and Nabarro was involved in the early stages of the renewal campaign. A "First Steps" committee, chaired by Ian Henderson, then Chief Executive of Land Securities, and of which Simon Johnston was a member, was established to look at the viability of the renewal project and to raise £5m to kick start the project.
The committee successfully saw the renewal project through its first stages and, over the last four years, the Church and the community centres it operates, including the Connection, which provides support for homeless people, have been very successfully refurbished.
The Firm is proud to have been involved in the renovation of such an important landmark and community centre in central London and, whilst the major renewal project has now been completed, we do retain links with the Connection community centre where Celia Staples acts as a regular volunteer. If anyone is interested in hearing more about the work of the community centre they can visit the
St Martin-in-the-Fields webpage.
