| Two trainees from Nabarro used their Nabarro in the Community Day to participate in an Aim Higher careers fair at South Camden Community School on 26 March 2010. James Realff and Bradley Rice liaised with the firm's Trainee Resources team to create a package of relevant materials, then set up a stall at the careers fair where they were approached by teenage students interested in learning more about a potential career in law. The fair was designed to encourage students from a fairly underprivileged area to be more ambitious with their career plans and to consider seriously the various options open to them at an earlier stage. Bradley and James gave advice on the various routes into law and chatted to students about which A levels and degree subjects would be most useful, plus they shared their own experiences of studying law, applying for a job and working in a law firm. |
