On 16 June and 30 June two groups of volunteers from Nabarro assisted Islington's Environment and Regeneration Authority in projects to increase biodiversity in New River Walk park and Rosemary Gardens in Islington.
The volunteers collected logs, sawed off wasted tree limbs and created log piles to encourage insects and fungi, and the mammals that survive on them, to propagate in the parks.
Volunteers said that they enjoyed "Working in a completely different environment and seeing the end result" and "being outside, working with someone who was passionate about what they do and knowing this would have taken days for him to do on his own."
