Nabarro volunteers give the Millman Street Centre garden a makeover

On Tuesday 11 May, three Nabarro volunteers helped the Millman Street Community Centre give its garden a revamp in time for its annual open day. The Centre, which is based just around the corner from Nabarro, is a community resource for the elderly in the local area. It provides a number of resources for the elderly, including day trips, a huge variety of lifeskills classes and daily lunches.

With an open day looming, the Centre's small, but perfectly formed garden, was in need of some TLC to get it looking fabulous. Nabarro's Phil Anderson, Adam Singer and Sophia Ollard came to the rescue, painting the walls and sanding down and painting the garden furniture. The garden was looking spick and span in no time!

The Centre was really pleased with the results, commenting that the garden looked fantastic and the Nabarro volunteers were enthusiastic and hard workers.
