Corporate Responsibility: A reflection of our commitment

Nabarro volunteers sparkle at Sparks

During October and November 2011, seven volunteers from Nabarro used their Nabarro Day to help out at the offices of Sparks Children's Medical Research Charity.

The volunteers had varying tasks, from stuffing envelopes and sending out letters to the Charity's supporters, to researching potential funding targets and prizes for the Sparks Winter Ball. They also got the chance to chat to staff and sit in on the Charity's morning get together.

The volunteers were overwhelmingly positive in their feedback about Sparks and commented on the friendly welcome they received and the fact that they really felt they were making a difference to the positive work Sparks does.

One volunteer commented:

"I had the most amazing day with the Sparks team. As a smaller charity, we were made to feel useful and that our (teeny tiny) contribution could really help Sparks."
