Nabarro goes Platinum for being Green
Nabarro won a Platinum award at the recent Mayor of London's Green Awards 2010 in recognition for our environmental efforts in driving down our carbon emissions in 2009/10.
Boris Johnson presented the accolade to London's top carbon-cutting companies, including Nabarro. Russell Stevens collected the award on behalf of the firm.
Low voltage LED lighting, full recycling capabilities including food waste, a move to a virtualised blade server environment and the introduction of new energy efficient cooling technologies have made huge efficiencies for the firm, not only in costs, but importantly in reducing our carbon emissions.
As a member of Green500, a London Development Agency initiative helping organisations become more energy efficient, we are committed to reducing our CO2 emissions in support of the Mayor's carbon reduction targets. The Green500 members have to date resulted in collective CO2 savings of over 476,000 tonnes, as independently verified by the National Energy Foundation.
