Volunteering with the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers

Sophia Ollard used her Nabarro Day to volunteer with BTCV to help clear a mass of Himalayan balsam from Pynchester Moat. Sophia had a great time and said:

"I would certainly volunteer for it again next year and am even considering a weekend day some time. I would recommend it to anyone who likes spending the day outside, with interesting people, doing a little bit to improve the environment. It certainly beats going to the gym."
