Nabarro recruit students to assist at Islington Clinic

Nabarro's free legal advice clinic, which operates in partnership with Islington People's Rights out of St Luke's Parochial Trust in Islington, has running for 11 months now and in that time has given over 200 pieces of free legal advice to people who cannot afford to pay for it.

Keen to continue the Clinic's development and provide the best service possible to the people of Islington, Nabarro have recently invited students from Kaplan Law School to become involved in conducting telephone triage services for the Clinic. The students are very keen and will be starting work at the Clinic in the next few months.

Getting students involved in a clinic can be a great way to provide the Clinic with some extra administrative support and also provides a fantastic opportunity for students, who can gain some much sought after front line experience. Assisting at a clinic can help students develop their interviewing shills through triage and may also give them the opportunity to shadow advisors and conduct follow-up research for the lawyer.
